Welcome to the Southeast Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) website and the 2013-2014 school year. We look forward to a great year ahead!
Every SE Parent, Teacher and Staff Member is a member of our PTO, and there are NO associated dues. We hope that you will make it your goal to partner with us during the 2013-14 year!
Some of the exciting things happening at Southeast during the 2013-14 school year through PTO’s financial efforts include: the purchase of several new iPad minis, student planners, yearbook for each student, teacher appreciation day, annual teacher's back-to-school luncheon, end-of-the-year student field day, 5th grade awards banquet, Kindergarten graduation, individual teacher support plus additional new teacher support, classroom subscriptions, a summer reading program, and so much more!
Volunteerism is another huge component of our organization, which is fun and rewarding work. It’s also a great way to get to know other students and families within the Southeast Community! Whether you are available during the daytime or only available to help occasionally outside of a full-time work schedule, there are a wide variety of ways in which you can contribute to our school. Our volunteers help coordinate and facilitate Fun Night, Scholastic Book Fairs, Conference Meals, Teacher Appreciation Week events, Classroom Parties, Yearbook Photography, Fundraiser Distribution, Community Events and Family Activity Nights. We also assist the school in finding volunteers for Classroom Volunteers, Vision Screening, Hearing Screening, School Picture Day, School ID Picture Day and Media Center assistance.
